Don't Waste Time Fighting Shadow Wars
The conflicts that give you the most anxiety and occupy the majority of your planning, are many times the ones that won't happen. Many soldiers spend time on the little issues and distractions closest at hand. This can guide a warrior to miss the most relevant activities because he becomes preoccupied defending against an imaginary enemy who might be looming behind every shadow.
